Sidney Animal Hospital specializes in small animal veterinary care for your dogs and cats. We have medical, pharmacy, surgical and hospital facilities, in-house diagnostis including a digital radiograph machine (X-rays), ultrasound and blood analysis.
At Sidney Animal Hospital, we prioritize the health and well-being of your furry companions through our comprehensive wellness check and preventive care services. During a wellness check, we conduct thorough examinations tailored to your pet’s age, breed, and individual needs. From nose to tail, we assess their overall health, including weight, dental hygiene, and vital signs.
Additionally, we make sure your pet is up to date on all preventive care such as vaccinations, parasite control and more. Through early detection and intervention, we aim to prevent illnesses and address any potential health concerns before they escalate.
Digital Radiology plays an important role in veterinary medicine. In addition to their diagnostic role in the care of sick animals, we use radiographs (X-rays) as part of a pre-whelping assessment of bitches, and to assess hip and elbow conformation of breeding dogs. Digital radiographs may be sent for certification to the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation For Animals) or other screening centers. We can arrange evaluation of radiographs at the centre of your choice.
At Sidney Animal Hospital, we offer a range of surgical procedures tailored to meet the needs of your pets. Routine surgeries such as spays and neuters can typically be scheduled with just a few days’ notice, ensuring convenience for both you and your furry friend. Our skilled veterinary team is proficient in these common procedures, prioritizing safety and comfort throughout the process.
Additionally, we understand that emergencies can arise, which is why we are equipped to handle orthopedic and urgent procedures as necessary. Whether it’s a routine surgery or an urgent intervention, you can trust us to provide compassionate care and expertise to your beloved companions at Sidney Animal Hospital.
